Bank of America: should not be CountryWide (Part 1 of many)

Yes, my mortgage was originally with Countrywide and then transferred to Bank of America (well, BAC Home Loans). My monthly payments were a bit too high but I figured I could work around it, refinance in a few years - you know all the tricks. But now I'm stuck and B of A does not want to help me. I know there are others out there like me, but that doesn't help me feel better.
Though this blog, and through my failures, hopefully some others will learn how to do it right.
